Union Street Farmers Market

It’s a beautiful Wednesday evening. Perfect for walking around the Union Street Farmers Market.

Some of the deciduous plants are leaf budding up: roses and ornamental pomegranate. Cool season annuals continue looking pretty with all their happy blooms.

Container gardens are on sale $8 for medium size and $10 for large.

Dianthus ‘Telestar’ Mix

Dianthus is such a pretty little plant. It’s a great cool season annual for your sun/part sun garden. The are awesome in containers or in the ground. Just make sure they have good drainage.

This is the Telestar mix that grows about 1′ tall and wide. To me they have a peppery fragrance. Keep them deadheaded and they’ll keep blooming till about June. $2/4″ container

Gerbera Daisy

Gerbera daisy! Love, love, love these little pretties. They’re perennials, grow about 2′ tall and wide, like part sun to part shade, do great in well drained soil in the garden or in containers. The flowers are also great cut flowers. $4 each.

Farmers Market

Had such a great time at the Union Street farmers market last Wednesday. So excited about being part of a great group of people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by R&G’s booth. If you haven’t been to Union Street … what are you waiting for! There are awesome vendors, great atmosphere, live music, and fun times.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is my first trip to Alachua County farmers market. I’ve heard great things about this one too, and can’t wait to become a part of it. I’ll be there 8:30 – 1:00. See you there!

Farmers Markets

R&G is back in business! We’ve been approved as vendors at the Alachua County Farmers Market and the Union Street Farmers Market. I’m so excited!

Saturdays, 8:30 – 1:00, we’ll be at Alachua County and Wednesdays, 4:00 – 7:00, we’ll be at Union Street in downtown Gainesville. We’re starting to grow more of our own plants, so it’ll be fun to offer some different varieties of plants for sell.

So put us on your calendars and come see us!
