Bringing Beauty To Your Life Through Your Garden

Hello there, my central Florida flower freaks! Did you know that Roses and Gargoyles Gardenscapes offers gardenscape walkabouts, garden maintenance, garden design and installation, and custom container gardens? Yes, we do! We specialize in butterfly and hummingbird attracting gardens and rose gardens, but we can create and/or maintain any type of garden. We use Florida native and Florida friendly plants, integrated pest management, organic fertilizers and amendments, “right plant, right place” theory, and natural pruning techniques to keep your plants healthy and thriving. Give us a call or text, 386-310-9969, or email, jeanni@rosesandgargoyles.com, to set up your appointment. We beautify gardens from Orlando to the beaches.

Farmers Market

Had such a great time at the Union Street farmers market last Wednesday. So excited about being part of a great group of people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by R&G’s booth. If you haven’t been to Union Street … what are you waiting for! There are awesome vendors, great atmosphere, live music, and fun times.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is my first trip to Alachua County farmers market. I’ve heard great things about this one too, and can’t wait to become a part of it. I’ll be there 8:30 – 1:00. See you there!

Kate’s New Garden

Here’s a sneak peek at before and after pics of the garden design and install I completed yesterday for my client Kate. This is just one of the beds. I’ll post the rest of the pics soon.

Here’s the before pic …

And here’s the after pic. The juniper and small cube shaped shrub were removed. Then African iris, pink caladiums, and sunhosta were added. Pinestraw was used as mulch.

The existing pygmy date palm stands out more now and the bed has much needed color and movement.

More pics to come soon.
