Plant of the Week: Farfugium ‘Giganteum’

Farfugium japonicum ‘Giganteum’ is this week’s featured plant!

This is a very cool Farfugium for your shade/part shade garden. She has HUGE leaves: up to 12″. She grows about 2’ x 2’ and blooms the usual yellow, daisy-type flowers in late Fall/Winter. Great in the ground and containers. Semi-evergreen: keeps her leaves in warm winters, dies to the roots if it gets below about 20 degrees. Very easy care plant. The one thing she doesn’t like is very wet soil. What more could you want!!

She grows in Zones 7 – 10, and is a Florida Friendly plant.

Pop on over to Farfugium ‘Giganteum’s’ Garden Boutique page and order yourself one or two or more!
