Pansies

One of the plants that most signifies cooler weather is the pansy. Who can resist that cute little face looking back at you? Not only are they cute, they’re tough too. I’ve had them survive temps in the low 20s, covered with ice, only to bounce back once it warms up a bit.

Give them sun to part sun, deadhead spent flowers, a haircut if they get too leggy, and they’ll be perfectly happy in your garden beds or containers. They bloom their little heads off till about May or June.

3″ containers are $1.00 each.

Alachua County Farmers’ Market today till 1:00.
