Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

Saw this gorgeous Eastern Tiger Swallowtail hanging out on my Souvenir de la Malmaison rose.

It’s amazing to me that the not-so-pretty larvae turns into that beautiful butterfly.  (Larvae pic courtesy of UF)

In case you’re wondering, the swallowtail’s scientific name is Papilio glaucus.

Farmers Market

Had such a great time at the Union Street farmers market last Wednesday. So excited about being part of a great group of people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by R&G’s booth. If you haven’t been to Union Street … what are you waiting for! There are awesome vendors, great atmosphere, live music, and fun times.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is my first trip to Alachua County farmers market. I’ve heard great things about this one too, and can’t wait to become a part of it. I’ll be there 8:30 – 1:00. See you there!
