Carolina Jasmine

Have you noticed lately a vine with beautiful yellow flowers growing through the trees and on fences? That is the native Gelsemium sempervirens aka Carolina Jasmine. She’s a very well behaved vine that grows about 20′. She loves full to part sun, is very low maintenance, evergreen, can grow in large containers or in garden beds, and can be used to cover fences, arbors, etc., or can be used as a ground cover. Oh, those pretty flowers start blooming late winter to early Spring when not alot is flowering…and they’re fragrant. What more could you want in a vine?!

They’re in stock at R&G, 3-gallon containers for $11.99.
