Don’t forget that R&G’s Grand Opening Celebration Day is coming up soon: Saturday, October 6, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Jim McCuen from the Florida Native Plant Society is going to join us and give a talk at 3:00 on native plants and why we should grown them.
Volusia County Master Gardener Grace Matthews will also be there to answer any questions you have regarding your plants.
For the kids, we’ll have face painting and they can make their very own butterfly water saucer that they can take home with them for free!
Crafts, artwork, and jewelry will be for sale by various local artists.
And free homemade refreshments will be available! My wonderful friend Heather Rogers is kind enough to provide the refreshments for us.
Last but not least, there will be special pricing on the plants.
So put Saturday, October 6, on your calendar to come to R&G and have fun with us on Grand Opening Celebration Day. See you there.
Happy digging in the dirt!
